Flash Company Inc
Flash Company Inc started out as an acapella group featuring the voices of Paul Marfleet, Michael Prochak, Denis Brogan and Monica Murphy. Their interest in songwriting, theatre and local history led them to compose, perform and record a musical history of Colchester called "Castle Keep". For this project they added instruments and recruited extra musicians.
Paul Marfleet plays acoustic guitar, mandolin and bells. Michael Prochak plays acoustic and electric guitars, bass, synthesizer, percussion, dulcimer and accordion. Denis Brogan plays keyboards and bells. Monica Murphy plays bodhran and wind chimes.
They are joined by:

Castle Keep

Colchester in Essex is the oldest recorded town in England. Colchester Castle is
one of the oldest stone castles in Britain. Its Norman keep is the largest remaining
in the world.
Castle Keep was originally devised as a stage show to help the appeal for funds to
restore Colchester castle. That stage show is condensed here as a musical celebration
of the history of this oldest of English towns. It reflects too the often over-looked
magic and mystery that were so much a part of British life - long before the Roman
invasion.
